Ride-outs

We offer ride-outs to the beautiful environment of the equestrian centre from one hour to two days. All hacks are accompanied by a certified instructor.

• beginners (no or few riding experience)
•  intermediate riders (able to trot without difficulties)
• advanced riders (able to canter without difficulties)

We do ride-outs with two riders minimum and eight riders maximum. All our horses are very experienced in hacking, calm and easy to handle.

Please make sure you have enough time on the day of your ride-out to prepare your horse with the instructor und to take care of it after the ride.

Initiation lesson

For beginners we offer an initiation lesson of 90 minutes including an initiation on grooming the horse, tacking up and a ride-out of 45 minutes.

Walks with our ponies

From three years on our youngest riders can have a ride on our reliable shetland ponies.

They are led on a walk around the domain by their parents for half an hour or one hour.

Trail riding

You can choose between rides of a few days, the weekend, one day or half a day.

You ride one of our sure-footed, calm horses and are accompanied by an instructor specializing in trail riding.  

Trail rides are scheduled for certain dates or take place at your desired date (from 4 riders on).

Example weekend trail ride

• arrival at our equestrian centre approximately Friday, 6pm, get to know the horses, dinner at 7:30pm, night in a holiday home

• preparing the horses and departure Saturday, 9am, riding through the beautiful landscape of the Aude region, break at noon, ride to Clermon sur Lauquet, arrival at 6pm, spending the night at a mill

• ride back to Pommayrac via the forest « Forêt domaniale du Castillou », break at noon at a hut in Castillou

• approximately 6 hours on horseback per day
