Opening

• The restaurant: the whole year round (except December the 15^th until February the 14^th)
• The rooms: from 15 February until November the 15^th.
• The Gîte: open the whole year through.

 Arrival by car

If you are on the A6 coming from TOULOUSE, you take the exit    “CARCASSONNE EAST” ( Carcassonne ouest).

• When you leave the highway and reach the round about you follow the direction LIMOUX/CARCASSONNE. When you reach the traffic lights turn left (direction St. HILAIRE). After approximately 800 meters you reach a roundabout where you turn right to cross the bridge of Garigliano . After 800 meters turn right (direction St. Hilaire). Drive through CAVANAC, LEUC and turn right when you leave the village of VERZEILLE (Follow the signpost “Auberge de Pommayrac”).

• Follow the D118 (direction LIMOUX) until you reach the bridge of POMAS (+/- 15 km). Turn left direction St. HILAIRE (+/- 2 km.) and VERZEILLE (+/- 3 km). When you leave Verzeille take the first road to your right (follow the signpost “Auberge de Pommayrac”).

If you are on the A6 coming from NARBONNE , take the exit CARCASSONNE WEST ( Carcassonne est ) , and :

• Follow the direction CARCASSONNE (2 km.) and turn right at the signpost of St. HILAIRE. Follow this road until you reach the hospital (3 km.).Turn right (after the hospital) and follow the direction St. HILAIRE. Drive through CAVANAC, LEUC and VERZEILLE and turn left when you leave Verzeille. (Follow the signpost “Auberge de Pommayrac”).

 

When you are on the D118 between LIMOUX and CARCASSONNE  Make a turn at the bridge of POMAS and follow the direction St. HILAIRE/POMAS:

• Drive through POMAS (700 meters), then turn left (direction VERZEILLE). When entering the village, turn right and follow the signpost “Auberge de Pommayrac”.

Arrival by train or by plane

• By train: The railway station of VERZEILLE is located 2km away from the domain (via CARCASSONNE train station: direct connecting services every day).
• By plane: there are regular flights from Paris, Charleroi and London to Carcassonne airport. At the airport you can rent a car or ask for our “shuttle service” to the city centre (15 Euros per person).

Overnight stay: 

•  4 rooms with individual bath rooms (bathtub and toilet), 1 double bed or 2 single beds
• A gîte with living area/kitchen, a bathroom and one bedroom for 4 persons (1 double and 2 single beds).
• A studio for 2 with living area/kitchen.

Dogs with leading strings are allowed, provided that you pay a supplement of 5,00 Euros per night.

Restaurant:

• We can offer you menus for 30,00€ including starter, main dish and desert
• Every day we serve a different special for our guest on half board.

We do not allow smoking during the meals.

Activities:

• Information on the Aude region can be found in our brochures (at the domain).

• There are several paths for hiking departing from the domain.

•  Active relaxation: We hire out cross-country bikes, canoes, kayaks, wetsuits, helmets partly at the domain, partly at Couiza
•  Horse riding:  Under accompaniment of a certified instructor for total beginners, mid-experienced or experienced riders, 1 hour, 2 hours or half a day. For children aged 3 years or over we offer ride-outs on our shetland ponies (half an hour, 1 hour or half a day).

• The golf-course, 18 holes, at Domaine d'AURIAC is close to the Domaine de Pommayrac.
