Canoeing - kayaking : Unguided descents
Canoe and kayak for everybody!
For individuals or groups (up to 100 !)
- Two-seater canoes with an addional seat for a child (younger than 10)
- Single-seater kayaks
Two different descents :
- A progressive descent, ideal for beginners and families : from Couiza to the medieval village of Alet-les-Bains.
(~ 7 km, half-day, possible picnic during the descent or on the island of Alet-les-Bains) ;
- a fun and sporty descent : from Couiza to Alet-les-Bains (to get started) and then the fun starts until Limoux.
(~ 15 km, full day, possible picnic on the island of Alet-les-Bains).
We offer :
Before you go, we tell you about the descent and give you instructions and safety tips.
Equipment : Canoë or kayak, single or double paddle, waterproof can (for picnic and towels), life jacket and helmet (compulsory for those younger than 18).
Open from April to November :
- Every day in July and August,
- Prior reservation during the other months

- Two-seater canoe: 50€
- Third person (child): 10€
- Kayak: 30€
